Jeremy Norrie is a unique film maker with an untraditional background. You might know him from all kinds of different industries but now he is a director/producer as well as a writer.

Available for Interviews: Podcast/Radio/TV/Film

I am a director/producer of around 30 independent documentary films for Amazon Prime, FOX, CBS, AppleTV, RedBox, Roku and various other major streaming platforms, even YouTube. My viral successes have mostly been in the "strange phenomenon" genre where our films have been seen by millions of people but we have some moderately popular and award winning films about all kinds of very different meaningful stories as well. I have become somewhat of an expert on ALL of our film topics as the director and find that perspective very useful in a unique way that simply isn't offered by other filmmakers that make far fewer films and only focus on very narrow subject matter.

Topics include: Bigfoot, Mindfulness, Wild Animal Rehabilitation, UFOs, Martial Arts, Aliens, Buddhism, Women's Wrestling, Ghosts, Tie Dye, Black & Minority Comedians, International Cannabis Competition, Psychedelic Medicine, Cancer and I'm sure there are a few more interesting ones I left out. I have won close to 30+ awards for filmmaking.

Before being a filmmaker, I have lived a wild and crazy rockstar like life, resulting in my recently finished book that is in the process of being published professionally. This focuses on all my worst stories being a major part of the cannabis industry for many years. IE: Home invasions, robberies, arrest and near arrests as well as various experiences producing semi-illegal cannabis events all over the USA and Internationally.

I am an expert in most things relating to cannabis and the cannabis industry in almost any way. I started as a dealer, then a grower and journalist. I made hash, and edibles. Won awards at the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam and in the USA. I wrote the hash section of Ed Rosenthal's book as well as the judging criteria for both The Secret Cup and Chalice Festival. I sat for weeks with lab techs doing the analytical testing for our events as well and learned so much about cannabis testing. I can explain things about vape pens & terpenes, why you should be careful about them, and all kinds of other things relating to cannabis in any way. I've been told I was a better guest than Tommy Chong about that subject as well, so I really know my stuff on this topic.

Prior to cannabis journalism I wrote for MMAWeekly and Sherdog about the sport of NHB now known as MMA or UFC. I am still a passionate fan of all kinds of fighting/combat sports. I also have trained, Eddie Bravo was my teacher at 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu at the Bomb Squad in West Hollywood. Toby Grear was my coach at True Warrior Fitness, formerly Chute Boxe, and I did boxing at Fortune Gym in Hollywood as well. I've done training at Primal MMA and Team BullyBusters too.

My own person journey covers the hero story of being an outcast early in life, struggling with that in various ways, overcoming that in my youth but then losing all my friends in my early 20's and having to rebuild myself many times over the next 2 decades dealing with life and death moments as well as great mental struggles and ego problems that were associated with my identity in these various circumstances.

Ultimately now, when people come to me with depression or problems, I have 8 steps I encourage people to take to be happy that anyone can do and I personally feel like I have solved the mystery of life in that way. I will never face the mental difficulties I overcame again, potentially being able to help others with my films and various appearances on media outlets. I frequently use my platform to bring attention to ways people can help themselves with mental health and other useful practices that are good for living a healthy happy life.

I have numerous appearances on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, IHeartRadio and various other podcast platforms but I myself do not have a podcast (my film co-producer teaches filmmaking on his own podcast tho). I am an experienced guest and we should have no problem keeping up a wonderfully entertaining conversation for however long your show may be.
